Children aren't only our future - they are a living, active part of Ascension! We have a lot of fun, learn Bible truths through most everything we do, we serve, play, and grow together. AWANA
Every Wednesday in the school year
(except during Advent and Lent)
* Powerful Bible truths taught at age-appropriate levels, interactive Bible lessons, crazy-fun games and precious time memorizing God's Word! Our students usually together recite over 1000 Bible verses each AWANA year with about 25-30 kids! The kids are excited to learn the Bible through the AWANA program and to bring friends!

Sunday School
Each Sunday we have Sunday School for all ages 3-adult.
Teachers love kids and guide them through Bible teachings. We are currently using material from Answers in Genesis which not only teaches Bible stores, but also teaches kids why these truths are important to their lives, and teaches the older students how to defend their faith in our culture.
YOUNG DISCIPLES
Once a month during the school year.
A Youth Group experience for students in 4th - 6th Grades!
Activities vary from fellowship to service! Call for more details!
CAMP VBS
Vacation Bible School meets Camp! (2021 dates will be announced in January.) 3 days and 2 nights each June students exiting 4th - 6th grade gather with our church grounds as our "camp." Mature teen leaders serve as "camp counselors" and several adults from our church plug in to challenge students to grow in their walk with Jesus! It is an experience like no other and we'd love for you to join us. In addition to faith-building activities we do service projects and out trips such as laser tag, fishing, tubing and swimming! Pre-registration is required so we have enough seatbelts! Contact the church for more details
VBS for 4 years - 3rd Grade
JULY 26-30, 2021 - 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
The VBS you know and love! Bible stories, meaningful crafts, silly games, worship music and epic skits highlight this special week for children every summer.
CHILDREN'S MUSICALS
The children Kindergarten - 6th grade of our church perform a meaningful musical 2 times every year - Christmas and spring. This is a huge highlight for them and a time they get to take the stage to share their faith! We try to record these musicals when we can and will post our links here!
